Associate, Commercial Transactions

We are seeking an Associate for our Commercial Transactions practice with a minimum of 2 years PQE. The role involves advising clients on venture capital, private equity transactions, and commercial contracts. The ideal candidate should have strong contract drafting skills and experience handling regulatory compliance for corporate transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, and investment documents.

• Advise clients on venture capital and private equity transactions, including deal structuring and regulatory compliance.

• Conduct legal due diligence and prepare transaction documentation.

• Liaise with regulatory authorities and external counsel as needed.

• Stay updated on corporate and financial regulations affecting private equity and venture capital investments.

 

Qualifications & Experience

• LLB from a recognised university.

• Minimum 2 years PQE in commercial transactions, contract drafting, and private equity/venture capital advisory.

• Strong understanding of corporate laws and investment structures.

• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
